And not to get too much ahead of ourselves, we are still open Saturday 7:30 am til 2 pm.

Closing on Monday is the final decision! It was really tough to decide as to whether or not to be open, but with the weather forecast predicting 90 degrees and pure sunshine, it swayed my decision from opening to closing. Me thinks it will be a day for fun in the sun, the pool, being with family and friends, etc. and not for coffee. So, hopefully everyone enjoys the long weekend! We will be back at it on Tuesday bright and early at 6 a.m. See you then!

Well, considering it is only the first day of July, I guess there is not a whole lot to compare it to, but wow! what a great day. Thanks to all of our lovely customers who helped to make it outstanding. I was uncertain of what to expect today, especially with the holiday weekend approaching quickly. It turns out that everyone was out and about enjoying the beautiful, low-humidity day we had, grabbing some lunch and coffee along their way.

Two things- Macaroons are back in action and are ready for consumption. We have a Kona coffee that is blended with Guatemalan brewing as the mild, which is quite nice and noteworthy.

An Allegheny county health inspector came by today (totally unannounced) and we’re very happy (but not surprised) to say we passed 100%. All of our procedures are spot on, effective, and completely up to the highest standards.
